Goal
- To reduce TB mortality rate by 35% in 2026 compared to 2015.
Objective
- To increase the number of notified new TB episodes to at least 486,160 by 2026 and to maintain TB treatment success rate at more than 90% from 2024 onwards.
- To increase the proportion of notified TB cases with known HIV status from 52% in 2021 to 100 % by 2026 and to treat 100% of identified TB/HIV with ART every year.
- To improve and enhance TB prevention through i) tuberculosis preventive therapy of, at least, 80% of household contacts and PLHIV with no active TB in 2024 to 2026 and ii) strengthening infection control.
